I've got to get 3 more of these still (family :rolleyes:), love mine though, what a piece of kit for the price. Superb.

Got a Touchstone station for £29 from PCW earlier as well.

No no, that is the wrong attitude think of it as a fish that must be caught. As someone who hasn't used Windows since 1999 I was looking forward to all sorts of strange possibilities presented by the Floss crowd, if my weedy netbook supported hardware virtualisation I'd being trying out webOS in virtualbox right now.
 
Been browsing the forums for a number of months (pc building help) but only just registered..

got a CPW order which is still at the first stage (ordered a bit late to be honest - 37xx - but i'm pretty sure these orders are being processed randomly so not much significance) and have got the delay email, so looks like i won't be getting it for at least a week if at all!

also ordered one off rainforest but i'm 99.9% sure that won't happen as got in 10 minutes before the reduces price was taken down

it's a shame really spent quite a bit of time trying to nab one of these, everywhere went down within seconds, makes me wonder why did retailers advertise it on twitter and drop the price during the middle of the day? do it at midnight that way you won't lose out on as many sales if the server crashes & the people who want them most will get them
 
any news on new stock in places ? midnight sales ? Is the bt shop definitely going to have stock ? day off tommorow and if i dont need to get up bright and early, i wont :D

ive reserved the last touchstone at the argos i hope to get my 3 touchpads from, heck, ill be happy if i get one!

how do you extend one day reservations? the touchpad is reserved over several days but the touchstone only reserved for one day

I have heard the Tesco one was being agreed today...although they are showing as out of stock now - probably people purchasing them hoping to get the refund post purchase...which they will.

The text reserve system has shown the reduced prices already for a while now. So I don't understand why they don't just reduce the website prices now.

This way people who have reservations can go into the store and get one tommorrow. ATM,it could be quite possible the in-store price has not changed.
 
Anybody have one on order for delivery with Currys? The last email I had was yesterday at 7pm saying

'We are now preparing your Currys order for delivery.'
'Your order number: CUR11032*****'

'Forward order (no delivery date confirmed)
Delivery method: Standard'

'What happens next?
Your products will be prepared for dispatch and a further e-mail will be sent when we have your parcel tracking number(if applicable).'


Attached in the email was my sales receipt as well.

Has anyone had anything further than this from Currys?
My order went through with the order acknowledgement email sent at 6:41pm.

quick question reserved 2 yesterday at Argos, one says it will be ready on thurs and the other at a seperate store on friday, but with the rumoured price cut already happening is it worth going in tomorrow morning to try and collect?

I think Argos is special in regard to it's reserves - reserved units can not be sold to anybody but the 'reservee' (not sure if this is effective in practice) so I think you'd be fine in waiting until the price drops are confirmed

A picture of it connected might convince me! I guess the product is so new that I can't find any reviews (to see where the power etc plugs in) or my google skills are failing me.
