BMW Dealers

Yup especially one in the spec I've found. Only around 3000 in the UK I believe. Like I said the spec I want i find comes up for sale about once every 3-4 months.

Its got all these bits on it. No Nav but I don't really need that.

Bluetooth phone prep
CD changer
Comfort package
Composite Star Spoke 108 8/8/1/2 x 18
Cruise control
Elec Fold Exterior Mirrors
Loudspeaker system - BMW Business
Seat heating. front
Xenon headlights

Its in my first choice colour, with the black leather seats I wanted. Only thing it doesn't have is the piano black interior trim, But I can live without that. Also has the bonus of being within an hours drive of me.

If you're spending this much on the car, tbh for me Nav is essential. It finishes the car.

The Nav on the z4 doesn't transform the interior in the way it does a 3 series. It's a pop up screen and it runs the same Nav system as the older E39 and E46 making it less of a must have than would usually be the case.

Cheers. Yes as long as its in good condition I'd be happy to pay the full asking price.

:(

Then you've already lost. You're going to go in there and be happy to pay the asking price, you're not going to fight very hard, the salesman will pick up on this immediately and hold out, you'll cave and the salesman will get a nice bit of commission this month.

You've got to go in with the right attitude if you're serious about getting money off.

Possibley.

But I will fuss over the slighest mark on it and ask for parts that are not right to be repaired or replaced. Tyres must be good ect. I see if I can get extra warrenty and a years Ved.

I've also got a car to part exchange there maybe so movement in the price they offer me for that.

Part ex at BMW can be a minus point, they'll offer you very little and then if you ask for more they'll be less likely to reduce much on the Z4. Just bear that in mind when talking money, could be better to sell private unless you don't want the hassle.

Thanks, I'll see what they offer. I have a figure in mind. I'd love to sell my car privatly but think its going to be too much hassle as I'd want a quick sale. I've just spent £750 on a gearbox rebuild and new clutch aswell :(

Really? BMW offered me over £1k more than the going rate for my old car and gave me £600 and some free stuff (mats, hands free installation) off the new one.

Smoke and mirrors usually - all that matters in a tradein situation is cost to change, not how much you get for yours or what you pay for the new one.

It seems like the generous PX value was balanced by the miserly discount on the new car in your case.

Absolutely it's all about the cost of change, but is £600 a bad discount off an Approved Used car?
