Why are you hassling BT staff?

They likely do not know for sure and if they PROMISE you something they cannot deliver that's bad. Rather they take the line of caution.
 
Same, and the touchstone as couldn't be faffed trying to buy one from elsewhere

Confirmation email came through before the last webpage even loaded to confirm order! It's getting battered already!

well think I have says processing complete but not directed to a confirmation page yet

They never promised me, they said if they put it on backorder, you may get it. Turns out they could not anyway. I was pleasant to them though!
 
phoned back saying nope, management for bt and babs have only a small number of stocking coming into allocate unfulfilled orders, she was really curious as to who had just ordered 3 and seemed really annoyed by it and said she really needs to find out who placed those orders in the sales team if it happened as A/ there is no stock, B/ what theyve done they have no jurisdiction to do, she smelled something fishy and really wants to know who placed thoese orders. but im obviously not going to go giving info away. but anyway greebo, you sure you got 3 from bt ? :s theyre running around trying to find this and seem really worried.
 
Still pee'd off at staples yesterday.
I was one of the lucky early ordering ones yesterday.
Got an email in work to phone them so did, but got cut off, either she hung up or my phone decided to cut it =[ but it went *beep beep beep* after her syaing she'll put me on hold to check -_-
I also quoted my online reservation number and not the one in the email, so she had to attempt to find my order yesterday.

Had to go back to work but due to not getting a lull in customers it was a while before I could phone back. When I did was told they were sold out, I unfortunately I semi-lost it at the sale rep and told him it was ridiculous and they should never have send out the email saying to call before 5 o'clock if there was no intention of having the product reserved till 5.
