29 weddings in 3 years, best man 3 times...and groom once!

seriously does anyone else go to so many wedding? got 3 left this year and already have 2 booked for next year! I counted them up looking back on my gmail calendar, and it's 29 in 3 and a bit years...

i'm 32 and it's like my whole social circle has decided to get hitched! just got back from Poland where i was best man via a translator, another one in October in Greece and one in Iceland of all places in Feb 2012.... i got married myself last year and been best man 3 times now!

i almost cried when i received another invite this morning

That is a lot of weddings, I imagine its pretty pricey with all that traveling as well

Only been to about 4 in my life! Been to loads of receptions just not the weddings, none of mates are married tho just been friends family's and my sisters!

It was peak wedding period for me between about 30 and 34 when it seemed like everyone was getting hitched and eating in to my weekends (I am also an astonishingly good bloke like the OP so was best man 3 times), things have calmed down now with only a couple of weddings this year. Now it's all christenings and kids birthdays.
