Well I can't be bothered looking anymore, and to top it all some arse reversed into my car and buggered off without leaving a note. He was spotted by someone else though so he is in deep poo (as is his company when they find out) :)

I'm wondering if it's a mere coincidence or something more to it that Amazon have cancelled all their orders around the same time that HP opened up direct sales on their website.

Cut out the middle man much? fingers crossed.....

There are rumours that's exactly what they plan to do, relist for £125 and make a tidy profit.
 
Only hope I have now is my order with purple shirts,

They took money out straight away and I got a confirmation then a waiting delivery email.

Still waiting!

Doubt it, wouldnt they have to change the boxing (e.g charger, label) in that case? Surely not worth the effort as they will be able to sell them easily in their own territory.

Pretty sure most UK stock will be exhausted, hence why rainforest etc have sent those emails. if they had any glimmer of getting stock from their supplier (which will probably be hp) they would have kept the orders on. Surely if they had any stock in quantity, they would put it up, the demand is huge.

Will probably be a case of few hundred becoming available here and there through the HP site I imagine

If they do the lash back will be immense. I imagine part of HPs arrangement is that they get sold for the firesale price and not gobbled up by retailers to sell at profit.

The point is HP wont honour warranty, support etc so them being sold for ANYTHING but HPs mandated price is not on. They are cheap FOR A REASON.
