I haven’t been able to find a TouchPad since you announced the price reduction last week. What’s happening?
We had a great response to the new price and are now temporarily out of stock on hp.com and at many local retailers. We will have more available shortly. Please keep an eye on www.hp.com/go/touchpad-availability. We will have a link up soon where you can subscribe to be notified when these products are back in inventory.

Hmm, hopefully Paypal won't mess this up for me. Checking on the Paypal website the transaction is "Pending" rather than "Completed". But I did use money from my bank - Paypal - then to HP, so it could just be delayed.

Paypal hold the charge until HP fully process/dispatch. It's normal. The Paypal confirmation email explains this.

I paid via PayPal and already had the balance in my PayPal account to cover it, and mine is the same, so it won't be that, pending is just the same as them applying for funds from your card, if the orders go through it'll change to completed.

Working for HP != Stock/selling decisions.

Unless you actually work in either of those areas then I think it's safe to say nobody knows 100% what will happen.

For all we know small franchises, shops etc are shipping TouchPads back to HP/Thier initial suppliers who will then pass back to HP.

This whole thing has increased the value of the Touchpad to some people who don't really know any better.

It's certainly worth £89/£115 but the £200/£250 it seems to be going for on auction place is way off the mark.

Well my order has yet to be rejected. Maybe they saw my email domain and couldn't get over how amazing it was and are just getting their feet together before sending me my order processed confirmation email.

Maybe...
