Report a crime without pressing charges

So, last night, a girl thought it would be particularly kinky to brand me with a hot iron.

This was well above and beyond anything discussed consent wise.

I believe this girl has run out of play partners and has had to turn to people like me because of it, and despite assurances and a very frank and open discussion beforehand (no knife play, blood, etc etc) this goes and happens.

I want to report her but I don't want it

a) Getting out that I do what I do for a living and the Police focusing their attention on me.

b) Having my reputation in any way smeared

(I am fairly anonymous on here apart from some cool dudes in motors who have met me)

Will the Police take this into account or will they insist on an all or nothing approach? I am aware that ABH, Wounding or attempted GBH (what ever this is) is not a civil offence but a criminal one so its not up to me on how they act, but surely the Police will be understanding of the situation and they wont be forced or not care about my wishes?
 
I don't think the police would/should focus their attention on you, imagine if the roles were reversed and a man ended up doing it a a woman, he would have the book thrown at him I think. :)

That does look pretty painful also, I've burnt myself many times with a soldering iron and a clothes iron is even worse... :eek:

He's an escort iirc and I can't see what good reporting it would do if you have no intention of pressing charges.

It's not the pain, its the permanent scarring and worried that she may be planning on doing similar stuff to people who aren't quite as savy as me. The safe word immediately came out but im fairly certain there was a pause before instantly stopping and that if I hadn't of secretly had more slack and the ability to escape she would have continued a little bit, which is scary as hell.

I honestly feel like I have been raped or something, I just hope this little line disappears, although I am grateful it could have been much much worse.

You obviously knew this was going to be a weird one with the discussion before hand, and now you want to run to the police, move on and learn your lesson.
