Price matching usually only apllies when another store actually has the item in stock for immediate delivery.

I would guess that Pixmania won't just gift £310 to a person for fun.

Don't Pixmania tend to have "grey stock" (ie not from HP) and perhaps is the reason they are not reducing?
 
For those who ordered from Argos for home delivery - I just got an automated call that the price difference will automatically be credited to your card within 7 days, and no need to phone them. :)

There are almost 50 threads in the Wanted section asking for one of these, so even if you did have MM access, I wouldn't get your hopes up...
 
So I called up Pixmania, and they said if you buy now, you wont get a refund. Off course could still just return it, but that would mean a £14 loss on delivery charges.

He advised me to just 'wait and see', basically more or less saying there is definately going to be some sort of price drop, but he doesn't know when.

So dunno whether to sit here and wait....or just order it and hope they realise it will be easier to just refund the difference, rather then me having to return it and then (hopefully) buy it again at the reduced price!

Cheers, had no idea what the guy was saying. He was heavily eastern europe in accent!
 
funniest thing ive seen all day, type in touch pad on the bay, filter to tablets, buy it now, highest price > some sicks listing it for £999 lol. said he bought it for 429 last week but needs to fix his car :s yeh we'l just pay for your car fixed as well as fulll price for a toucpad...
 
One of mine says in progress and the other is still new order, both went through within seconds of each other.

Might signify something, might not :p
 
any orders via web for CPW with a reference higher than 34XX moved to step 2? mines 34XX and is still at step 1 although other 34XX's said they have moved to step 2 :( they haven't missed me have they? :(
