Have to say it does look like a damn good psu. I could wait for the AX650 but unless I'm mistaken it's the same Seasonic unit in a Corsair shell.

After the XFX my main concern (after making sure it has enough juice) is the fan. And the Seasonic fan doesn't even start until it reaches a certain load which is a winner for me:)

Doubled edged sword, transistors get smaller/less gate voltage, but they fit more and more in, so heat still remains at a steady rate.
 
Yeah good point, well I'll be buying whatever occupies the price/performance bracket around the £200 mark so won't be the crazy high end cards.

Anyway, have taken the XFX out now ready to pack, got my wife's CX600 in just to make sure the ticking wasn't being caused by something else, happy to say it's not ticking:P
