Anyone just been watching, he stopped the lady for no seatbelt and issued her a ticket, fair enough.

Then he checks her insurance (she delivers sandwiches as part of her job) and because she is only registered for SDP he gives her another penalty notice this one with £200 fine and 6 points.

Absolutely pedantic, there was no reason for it she clearly didn't have a clue about the insurance policy, he could have given her a warning about it but never.

Me and the wife were just saying that. So she's at least taken the effort to insure the car for sdp but now has a 200 fine and 6 points. Compare that with the usual scumbags on these programmes that have stolen cars, no licenses and get virtually nothing.

That'll be why I don't respect the filth.

They don't usually charge any extra for business cover, I have to have it, and have had it for the last 14 years of work due to transporting other peoples children about.

Pedantic, but the law is the law, and she'd have been charged a lot more if she'd had a crash and told them she was driving about for her job when it happened.

If you have virtually nothing, then having a £50 fine can be worse than being flush and having £200 go, the ammounts vary as the courts look at each case individually. Obviously in this case the £200 was a FPN before any smart arses start
