Going to Florence i think in November for 4 nights, looking for a nice hotel, has anyone got any recommendations?

Preferably

1 - Central-ish
2 - around £500 for 4 nights
3 - Nice white sheets prefered (strange but i much prefer white sheets than those floral ones!)
4 - Wifi

I'm off to the Hotel Atlantic Palace on Saturday to attend a conference so will let you know what it's like.

Looks fairly central and it should fit in your price range.

I hope its for a holiday and not a wedding shoot, ha, I was there this July and there were a couple running around with a tog trying to get shots. Looked like a nightmare it was so busy.

It's holiday :)

I have a busy 2 months ahead and will need to rewind afterwards and this looks like a nice place as any.

There are some beautiful places to stay in Florence. Dont mind the floral sheets as they are likely to have the most authentic feel. If you're really after something luxurious minus the price tag - lastminute.com have some top secret hotels on there which are 5* for a bit over 500

I stayed at Hotel Leonardo Da Vinci (http://www.leonardodavincihotel.net/hotel-firenze/hotel-leonardo-firenze.html)

It was clean and modern, its only 100 euro a night and it was my friends birthday and they made her a cake for free which I thought was nice! Depends if you want to stay in a rustic hotel or not. This one was ok for our needs.

lovely city, definitely one of the best in Italy (way better than Rome!)

ps doesnt have a view!
