Intergrating Windows 7 / Office 2003 updates.

Hey guys,

I've just setup my new system and I don't appear to be getting any office 2003 updates through windows update? I didn't have any issues last time around - I think it was automatic

Is there any way of hurrying it along?

Go to updates and search for new updates.

Or click the line at the bottom which says, update other products from MS also.

Yeah, I have done. The only thing I can think of that might have disturbed it is manually installing service pack 3...

I'm sure I did that last time round though and it was fine?

A friend has just said that you don't have to do anything... "eventually" they will show up on their own

If you've manually installed SP3 then you are reasonably up to date. It could be that there are some prerequisite Windows updates needed first. I've known Windows update to tell me there are none available and on the next reboot I've had a giant list that are ready to install. I wouldn't worry about it too much over the next couple of days.

do you guys install ALL updates windows 7 tells you about?

Yeah, I install all of them. Not had a problem so far, I love Windows 7
