Simple conclusions can be drawn. HP are making losses, they will want to minimise these losses. They will not ship stock to the UK just because if they can liquidate it in the US. If shipping to the UK nets them more (read, less loss) because of the exchange rates and sold price (meaning HP rebate less) then they might well do it.

I find it hard to believe stock will leave the US unless it HAS to though.

Exactly, I said it yesterday or day before, the cost of changing the packaging (opening, changing to UK plugs, changing labelling etc) makes it pointless.
 
Yet another post from me about Dixons :p

I hate Dixons now, how hard is it to deliver within 3 days! No wonder why they get bad rep.
 
If i dont hear anything from hp in the next hour i will just call up and cancel it and buy the Samsung tab 10.1 instead i am tired of waiting

Any word from them yet for you in way of dispatch confirmation? Still not a peep for me, even though they did actually charge my card (not just hold the funds) on Monday..
 
For those who placed an order with PCW on Tuesday morning, apparently most of them got cancelled and they aren't expecting any stock at the moment.
I just got off the phone with their customer service team.

Zilch.

Was one of the first in the UK to order on Monday at this lower price yet no del e-mails, hope it gets delivered tomorrow......
 
Tweeted, posted here, e-mailed and called and I JUST got a further e-mail saying it's being delivered!

I guess I should have done that Tuesday :(

Have JUST got my dispatch email from Dixons finally, being delivered by Yodel. My Dixons order ID was just under 6200, if it's any guide for how close yours is..
