Ex owes me money, where do I stand on this?

Does the bill still come to you? Should have the number on it that she's been texting. Would only be gentlemanly to warn this chap about her. :D

If I was in the Aussie guys shoes, and OP rang me saying that this girl had ran up a £200 phone bill, I would laugh him off the phone.

He really wont give a ****, and probably find it quite funny. (I could be wrong, but really its nothing to do with him anyway)

Firstly, you have cancelled the contract now, haven't you?

Secondly, you might be able to claim that in the small claims court but with her travelling to Australia it'd be difficult to enforce and I don't even know that they'd find in your favour although I'd incline to think they would. However, frankly, I doubt it'll be worth your time and hassle. Suck it up, learn from your mistake and move on.

Thank goodness I wasn't even slightly serious.

One of my exes owes me 3400 quid after i lent it to her to buy herself a Focus couple years back.. We broke up about 5 months later still not repaid.. doubt i'll be seeing that as i don't know where she even is

You could get her back by getting some drugs, rubbing it all over her cases (not sure how you'd do this, thats down to you), aus customs will pick it up and she will have a nice "chat" with a lady wearing rubber gloves!

:D

Unless he has it in writing that she will be taking on his contract then I doubt they would find in his favour regardless.

Call in a bomb threat for her plane on the morning of her flight. Mention her name specifically then go 'Durka Durka Durka' and hang up.

I've had some more time to mull over it. I'm going to boxing tonight to cool down then I am going round to speak to her parents. The very worst thing that could happen is they find out their daughter is a **** and tell me to sod off. If I do nothing I look like a total mug. Her parents are giving her £1300 so she can have the required amount of money to actually get into Aus on a WHV so fingers crossed they actually do something and use the £1300 as leverage. If it was my kids I'd be ashamed.

£200 must be nothing to you as you wasted about £500 getting a second contract for absolutely zero reason. Consider this cheap.

bonus edit: Lymington? Sell a boat to make up the costs ;) from a Highcliffe school rival.

It's not so much the actual £200, it's the fact it's all because she has been texting/ringing Australia. I've effectively funded her romances with another man.

Typical bird whos got above her station .."Ooooohh look at me im going Oz!!" "I need to find myself" and ****.

No words of advice other than your better off out of it!

As stated, massive slap in the face and really mean of her, but as someone else also said, why didnt you get just another handset on the original contract....? Even if it was just a cheap one?

I think you should phone the other number in Aus and just tell him to be careful you got some nasty crabs and a few other things as she slept about before she left you.

Tell him to get some cream if hes going in :D
