What's wrong with that? Phone companies already do this and I'm surprised they didn't do it sooner...

My touchpad would've been on ebay asap with all these people paying mad prices for them tbh.

This whole thing has certainly brought out the worst in some retailers.

If CPW do that "free Touchpad" wheeze with a 'phone contract it will be a new low.

woooot i just got mine from CPW. was ordered on the night it happened around 19:35. just downloading update now. i very very rarely go to mobiles section threads just straight to samsung thread but god was guiding me that night. now the ladies can come over and enjoy my sexy new cheap toy.

wouldn't believe anyone if they said a week ago i'd own a tablet. i'm going to get such strong wrists from holding this.

I think someone contacted them and they said no, it'll be first come first served. It's really made me mad, I spend a considerable amount of money at Amazon and normally consider them very reliable for getting hold of stock and fair with prices, this has seriously upset my faith in them.

Yeah it's a bit off. The ONLY reason I can see them doing this is they want to relist stock at a greater price. They cannot do this if they have back orders. So they cancel under some bull excuse only to relist a week later at a higher price.

I have only spent about £300 at Amazon in 18months but I will certainly be looking elsewhere in future, from being my first stop it's now my last resort.

Agree! My mate put his order in at 12:04 and mine was 12:09 both didn't get one
