Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Got mine this morning, Liking the game so far even though I wasn't a fan of the original, The enemies can be really punishing if they catch you off guard with only a few shots taking you down but if you're in cover you are immune from all fire and enemies won't bother moving to flank you they just sit there and let you pick them off,

Voice acting has been hit and miss too, some decent performances in there but some are terrible (jenson in particular)

Graphics are pretty decent, not amazing but good enough

One thing I really like is the multiple ways of going about things, I met a turret, I couldn't get anywhere near it, looking around I found a laptop that controlled it, however my hacking skill wasn't high enough so I only managed to disable the camera in the corridor towards it, crept into the corridor and there was a box that I could move so I pushed it slowly toward the turret staying behind it, The turret detected the movement and opened fire shredding the box and I only just managed to get back around the corner in time , after a little look around I discovered a vent on the wall hidden behind a box, shoved the box out of the way and went through the vent and ended up behind the turret where I could do whatever I wanted to it

There were multiple ways and opportunities to take out that turret but in the end I just ended up creeping around it and leaving it be,

I can see me really enjoying the game and will definitely be paying more
 
mine was ment to be have been despatched on the 21st but still hasnt turned up.

Somebodys version of "EXPRESS DELIVERY" is a little flawed.

I remember that bit.

9 times out of 10, there will be a vent system for the entire level. Wait until you have to sneak into the police station... Just look for vents, tons of the buggers, still fun though!

p.s. if you guys want the silencer for the pistol, you can get it off a weapon merchant in a building. If you go to the basketball court (which there is a hidden achievement for putting the ball through the net... Just use some barrels to climb up and drop the ball through). Face the 2 dudes and the building on your left has a ladder you can climb... Go up their to the first window, climb in and one of those rooms will have a merchant.

I think, been a while since I was at that part :D

good shout I'd say - if your anything like me and a lot of others my DS' are just sat around gathering dust now - never really play them at all anymore. Plus the more you leave them the more the trade value will plummet - I say do it ;)

Exactly... I've been using my phone more and more for my mobile gaming, so may as well just get it over with.
 
well if it doesnt turn up tomorrow then im cancelling all my other preorders with them.
2xBF3 and 2x Gears, having a wife who plays xbox is expensive but it could be worse she could spend then money on shoes.
 
You guys realize the street shops always always always have tons of these new games in stock on the release day yeah? I see the same people over and over asking why their new game hasn't came on time. Just go to the shop on release day if you want it that badly. Pre-ordering doesn't mean 'get it the day before or the day on', it means 'pay for this before it's out' along with a chance of waiting even longer. Which is completely pointless.
