Pro Evolution soccer 2012 Demo

Agree with all of Killswitch's points apart from the graphics. I think they look awful, apparently the graphics have been compressed lots in the demo but in the final code they are much better.

Not managed to win on top player yet. The CPU AI is very good, if you go flying in you will get mugged, Pato literally took my whole team on as I was just R1+x'ing.

As said dribbling is much easier, had a few jinking runs in the box that you couldnt do in any of the higher difficulty setting in last years version.

Think I may get this on PC, the full game will no doubt look amazing as 2011 does, add to that the modding community it can be just as 'licensed' as FIFA.

That's embarrassing for everyone. Saying that, I play in 2D anyway because I am retro and cool and stuff.

I haven't noticed any button lag at all. The player will pass/shoot when he's physically able to in line with the animation.

If you went and played on PES 5 or 6 on the PS2 or PC and then played on PES 11 or the 12 demo straight after, you would notice how sluggish and unresponsive the newer ones are.

Played a game last nite and I think its much better then before !! and also hard. You get a satisfaction when you score a goal !! like you earned it !

Might get PES 2012 this year !

Well I have to say.....im very surprised! I was not expecting the game to be any better than the previous PES's but it is, its miles better!

I played last night as united and it felt great to play, the game was very fluid and I didnt want to stop playing!

I don't have a problem with the gfx at all my only visual issue that I picked up on in the 2 matches I played was that the San Siro looked very dull, needs a bit of lighting up.

Looks like I will be buying PES for the first time in years, also looking forward to the 2nd demo release.

Thought the demo was decent. Definitely feel you have earned your goals in PES compared to FIFA.

De Gea in goals though let in a couple of stinkers, exacltly like real life, so very accurate.

Didnt really get into the dribbling etc, but love the cross field passes

Definitely an improvement from last year.

I think I managed about 2 goals in 5 games though!

Seem to keep over or under powering them, also changing the button config each match is a pain in the biscuits!

It must be an improvement because last year you said:

This isn't growing on me the more I play it, it just feels clunky and slow in comparison to fifa.

At times it's like trying to control a ride on lawnmower with a commadore 64 joystick!

Running with the ball is like a baby swimming in cement, you feel like you're going nowhere.

It feels like there is no freedom of play, I really didn't like it.

The only thing I can say I enjoyed was a few of the camera angles in the game and watching the players running like a chubby kid playing wii sports

:D

Haha. :D

Seriously though, if you watch the intro the passing and dribbling animations look so, so clunky. The passing looks like the ball has no weight at all, it just sort of pings off the player's foot regardless of how hard it is kicked. Then the in-game animations are worse, it ruins the experience.
