XBOX *** SSFIV AE Tournament 2 ***

That's a decent scoreline against one of the favourites. Even more so because of the matchup unfamiliarity advantage Oni has against many players at the moment.

You done well to win 2 against him, I've got him as the fave to win this tourney.... but if I come across him I will avenge thee my fellow Abel brother
 
I lost 3 - 0 to DrSK. I was one bt of chip damage away from winning the first round and then threw it away. After that I was just owned, he completely outplayed me. GGs mate and very well played.

We had some casuals afterwrads and found that it was a closer match with Bison. Next time I will probably use Bison instead of Balrog. Really enjoyed the causlas mate, hope to play again soon and good luck for teh rest of the tournament.

Really unfortunate in that 1st round. Ggs yep nice bison, u cud become really strong with him. Play soon
 
Oh my, what a close set I just had with Jaguar Skills, I really hate Balrog!!! Video coming soon, it was a nail biter.
 
GGs Adz... i can't believe i was up 2-1, thought i had it this time, but Oh No.

I think i got a little too relaxed, trying to build up my meter, then before i knew it

you'd knock 1/3 of my health down with one launch - while i wasn't ready for it lol.
 
Balrog is one of my worst matchups where I actually know the matchup but still find it very difficult with Ryu. Other matchups eg Fuerte, Viper etc I dislike and I'm not really sure what I'm doing but Balrog just seems too overpowered to me. Good effort though and when you were 2-1 up I thought I was out.

Think i saw i few more combo's since we last played!

Adz I don't supposed that I could play my round 1 match on Monday?
Because shortwarning wasn't on last night I would have to play him whilst on call.
If not don't worry about it, I'll just have to do my best.

At 8:10 into the video, 2 - 1 up to me... health advantage mine...

then came the turning point, i thought the Ultra would chip damage him out,

lol but instead it left Adz with 1 pixel of health and me open to his Ultra :eek:

Enjoyed that match massively though :p

Especially at 6:13, nice combo which I don't see many Rogs do online!

I got up to pray. Stuck the video on upload at around 1am and knew it would be done. :)

As soon as you let of the ultra I was gonna dp, but thought I'd risk blocking it because it would give me a free ultra. Luckily I had enough health! :p

Thanks Adz, it's rare i get to pull off 3 in a row like that.

Can't tell you how good that felt lol, i was looking at a defeat in that round.

And when you kept jumping when i had you in the corners... if only i didn't

use low dashes (new habit) and went to dash uppercuts (old habit) for that.
