Amazon seem to be dragging there heels on if they will refund the difference on one I bought at full price a few hours before the price drop.
Its sitting on the table begging me to open it but I daren't incase I have to return it.

Anyone else in this situation or know of anyone who is ?

For my part, an extra has turned up and I am gonna make someone in the "Wanted" forum a happy man. Hi all, didn't mean to start a drama/comedy/bidding war!

I gave my spare to AmTechFox in the Wanted section. Mainly as I have dealt with him before on Members Market, partly because his Wanted thread was hard to miss (customary OCUK "***" thread and a broken Caps lock!) And partly cos I noticed he was trying hard to get one in this thread and was failing (as I am sure many are!).

I think the best way to give any to other people (who have not got one, not people who want one for family or pets) would be to look at:

1) Trust rating (no-one wants to get ripped off and this is the 1st thing I check)
2) Age of "TouchPad wanted" thread in Members Market.
3) Number of posts in this thread (non spammy, of course!)

or any combination of these. Just my 2 cents worth...

u cant say that about everybody my friend, i had extra reservation for case and touchpad which i gave to someone here

For sure, my post was in response to a specific post, which I misunderstood in the 1st place!! New members are just as welcome to help other people and contribute here. Props for giving the accessories to someone in need rather than someone after a quick buck ;)

Kudos to you mate.

I noticed a few posts in this thread saying they'd give first refusal to OCUK members on any extra's obtained but it only appears to be you that has done so.

I'm still on the lookout for one but the chances are minimal :(
 
Nice one RP - a great decision :)

Am now playing the waiting game with that 32gb one I managed to order this morning - not had any further info regarding whether it's been sent (meant to go out with parcelforce) but will wait and see what tomorrow brings!

Order was for a 32GB one from CPW, order number 43XX. Hope that helps someone in a similar position, waiting for CPW.
