Having seen some Medal of Honour game play on the PC I have to say it looks phenomenal.

Does it play like BFBC2? I cant see why they are bringing that out and BFBC2 vietnam, as they are the same games, just with different skins.

Regardless, anylone played the Medal of Honour beta on a 5870?

Does it max the game out? Smooth?

Hmmm and new COD this winter! Cant get new BFBC2 viet + Medal of Honour and new COD!

Thats just fps overload!
 
Is it heavily scripted like the past Medal of Honours. I never could quite come to terms with the scripting in fps, the whole "guy wont come through the door until I cross this invisible marker , at which point he will always come through the door at that moment, every time" thing just irked me.

I remember one WW2 fps, cant remember which one (think it was one of the call of dutys), where enemy troops would rush out of a building at you, but they would just keep coming, an infinite amount of them until you crossed an invisible marked point. Heavy scripting bugs me.

Yup. This is pretty much every single CoD to date. Each level is made up of sections where enemies will simply continue to flood towards you, forever, until you cross specific checkpoint.

Doesn't stop the games being fun at times, but it completely destroys any and all replay value.
 
Pre ordered this game then played the MP beta for 3 intense hours
then cancelled pre order because its crap !

Theres just nothing new here. ill be sticking with bc2 untill the vietnam expansion comes out ;)
 
i remember the first moh.

i ran ahead of my squad and entered a building where i found some nazis having a game of cards. because they weren't expecting me yet, they ignored me and carried on playing cards!

i hope they have improved since then. the cod series is getting a bit stale now.
 
I disagree I think it's pretty good people dismiss it way too quickly.
Of course if you prefer Battlefield/large environments your going to prefer bc2.
I feel apart from it being dice you shouldn't compare it to that. It was like the whole css vs bf2 back in the day, there different kind of shooters.
IMO seeings its a beta it destroys MW2 (it's more direct competitor).
Nice to see noob tubes etc. not being too OP in it as well. (atm)

I felt it was very clunky control wise. No prone (though some games have lived without it) is annoying, especially for the more stealthy person. Grenades, grenade launchers, rocket launchers etc are entirely pointless. They have a burst radius of around 3cm. In my opinion in MW2 the grenade launchers and rockets are too powerful, but the grenades are just right - ie: enough to clear a room. A balance needs to be found.

Aside from that, still no LAN options, and you can't create your own servers al la BC2.

To sum it up, it's a BETA (and has about a billion issues) of BC2 in a different setting.
 
One of my mates still plays this and I would like to know what the online community is like as he doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about when I ask.

Do people still play this game?
 
Yes there are loads of players online just don't buy hotzone pack (nobody plays with that dlc)

Edit: Just logged on now to see there are about 7 full servers 24/24 players and 10+ not so full servers
