Circle strafing it actually easier on a console though, as you don't have the running out of space issue you have with a mouse.

Also to what end is cross platform play? PC + Mac is crossplatform so you might not be playing against console players quiet yet. Plus I think that argument is kind of dumb these days as a lot of PC gamers may use a 360 pad anyways.

You can use a m+k on PS3 IIRC... perhaps they will limit the 'cross platform' to PC, mac and PS3 with m+k?

That or silly aim assist for console players?

Matchmaking system? I hope we can still just have a server list on Steam.

As for everything else, it looks to be pretty cool IMO. Lots of the good old stuff we all love but a nice update with a couple of fresh weapons and gameplay tweaks, without breaking away from the old game too much.

I just hope it doesn't end up being another Condition Zero

I think it looks pretty good, dunno what there is to not like? The textures and UI look fresh and updated, cross platform could be interesting, and if it works it could open up doors bringing life back into pc gaming again.

also it looks pretty decent but the hands look bigger then the guns, and them grenade models deffo need to change, I hope its modable if they don't

Personally I think it looks great. Nice seeing how the CS series has grown up over the years.

Some of the map tweaks look interesting; especially the dust "lower" section.

The trailer on steam said "New game modes" and "cross platform play" I'm guessing they mean mac/pc? or could they mean consoles too?

PS3/PC cross platform.

PS3 version supports keyboard and mouse.
