really unsure which would be the better card... any ideas?

the Asus is a little cheaper but other then that there very similar.

The MSI is an amazing card. Got mine at 900 core and it only hits 60-65 degrees in heaven benchmark.

When I did research on video cards, I found out that you have to be careful with the amount of memory they have... You need to get 2gb version not 1 gb, In games like battlefield 3, 1gb memory is not enough to cope, read this, stulid gave this link to me :) (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18344284)

Link's dead mate. I think 1Gb is fine for 1080p unless we're talking about SLI in which case the extra vram can be efficiently used. A 1.2Gb 570 will hand a 2Gb 6970 it's arse in BF3.
