I rarely buy albums in hard format, but having just listened each of the tracks on it, i definitely will.

Anyone else managed to listen to it? He's finally coming back i think, slowly but surely!

I heard that "How to love" song by him. It just felt a bit weird with his voice. Also stuck in my head.

This isn't what the rest of the album is like is it?

I wasn't taking the mick, i'm quite into hip-hop music and have a lot of friends who are and whenever the likes of Lil Wayne, TI, "Fiddy" and other "pop" rappers are mentioned, it's always met with a resounding groan.

I just can't gel with his music, his lyrics are quite infantile a lot of the time and his flow doesn't work for me.

Not detracting from those who do like him, each to their own :)

I can see them groaning at others, but T.I is actually very good.

If Wayne goes back to the likes of Carter 1/2 then he's welcome back!

Drakes album to look forward to now, but got this album on repeat, it's quality!

I used to hate Lil Wayne until the Carter 2. Not my fave artist by any means but definitely listenable.
T.I is not what I would describe as a pop rapper - although in recent years he has done some poppish tracks or featured with a pop artist here and there to stay relevant - I'm Serious and Trap Muzik are not pop at all. I'd class someone like Nelly as a proper pop rapper :D

It's not hip-hop.

+1 as soon as you put how to love on there, he's goddamn singing not rappin!

Dissapointed with this album, some OK tracks (she will/ 6foot) but nothing outstanding (no lollipop/ a milli)

Watch the throne goes back on top of my playlist

some of his stuff is whack but some of it is pretty good, he has made a huge number of hits though, just like 50 and rick ross is coming along now too, rap had a bit of a recession, but eminem, dre, ross and wayne are bringing out a lot of good songs.

just need 50, jay z and kanye to up their game now.

bangladesh is a very good producer, his beats are amazing, something kanye could certainly learn a thing or two from, watch the throne was overproduced on a lot of the tracks.

i like a good beat, which comes from the production side of things, im more of a beat > lyrics type of person but i also prefer harsh, aggressive lyrics on top.

i cant stand the likes of old skool hip hop like run dmc, wu tang, etc.

dmx, wayne, 50, ross, tupac are where it's at.

i do also like ne-yo, akon and the dream for more smoother r'n'b flavour.

everybody is different and likes different types of music, call it what you want, but i had heard of three 6 mafia long before they had mainstream hits, same as DMX who has never been big in the UK, never really liked eminem until he started making serious stuff and stepped away from all the childish jokey stuff that made him famous.

50 cent has always made bangers, although he does tend to make a shedload of songs, i think he has had over 100 mixtapes easily, some of his best songs have been released on mixtape first then re-released on albums or remixed then put onto an album.

although i do like a lot of mainstream stuff, i listen to everything, i have a preferred sound and mainly only mainstream stuff has the production quality behind it which fulfils my needs.

for example, 50 cent has an unreleased song titled "hip hop" which is amazing, your normal average mainstream listener will never even heard of, its a p diddy diss, and the lyrics are sick and so is the beat. the mixtape it is on is called hip hop is dead.

It's rappers like 50 cent, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne et al who make me so happy that I don't listen to mainstream hip hop. Not a decent lyricist between them, really.
