Have faith, I know Leeds are massive underdogs but player for player man for man they can match Wigan. As long as they play to their best ability I am sure it will be a good day ;)

Any team on their day can beat anyone in this league, its just that against Wigan, the odds are a bit stacked in favour of Wigan! All the best though, I am looking forwards to hopefully a close contest.

Absolute elation in the East of Hull over the weekend. Complete and utter elation, followed by a beer or 5! The final scoreline flattered Saints as Rovers were utterly dominant and ran in worthy winners. Cracking game though, one of the finest displays I have seen from Rovers this year and the crowd was absolutely superb. The East stand was rockin' all day and it was the loudest I have ever heard. I really do believe that our East stand fans add the 14th man to the field of play. You could see it in the face of Craig Hall when he was running back after scoring his try and Dobbo at the end of the match. Blake Green was absolutely outstanding, I'm so pleased with the way he has settled in, he is our signing of the season and he is definately going on the back of my shirt next year!

On top of the atmosphere on Sunday, I am hoping for more of the same against Castleford on the last game of the season as we will be needed there again, and also at the Catalan game, speaking of which:

Can't wait!

I would expect Jon Wilkin to be up in front of the powers that be shortly after his trip on Kris Welham. I have never seen Welham spurring for a fight until then, he was about to knock Wilkin's head off until the Rovers players stopped him. Nasty challenge from the ex-Rovers and local lad, but he is an awesome player whom I am sad we let go.

Rumors abound that we have signed Misi Talaupapa has signed for us from Sheffield Eagles. Bit of an unknown entity to me, so we shall see how that works out.

Just back from a month's Californian sun and surf. Still managed to book my Wembley tickets online through the RFL. Anybody else on here going down this weekend?

I'm hoping for a Leeds victory

I'm not ;)

Leeds have been very close to beating Wigan twice this season. There seems to be a bit of bad feeling between both sets of players that has sparked up in the last couple of seasons, and Leeds definitely lift against Wigan.

I'm old enough to remember the Sheffield final very clearly and I'm expecting a very tough game on Saturday.

California was amazing. I am jet lagged beyond belief atm though.

Me too, on both accounts. As much as i dislike the Pies, i'd rather see them lift it than the Whino's! :D

And i remember the Sheffield final, one of my ex team mates from the year before was playing in it!

I envisage a repeat from last year with Wigan being Warrington. Wigan just look a bit unbeatable. Maybe if it were Hull KR instead of Leeds....

Blake Green's appeal has been unsuccessful which I thought was a bit unfortunate as the punnishment is extremely disproportionate, compared to Wilkin (1 match) or McGoldrick who got off free of charge! Bit gutted really as he would have come in bloody handy against Catalan!

So today is the day. I lost £30 quid gambling last night, so do I put a cheeky tenner on Leeds today?

Looking at the respective routes to the final, Leeds had it so easy.

Yeah, for Wigan to beat warrington and saints is pretty good going.

Well sister and mum went at 6am, feels like everyone in wigan is going today

Girlfriend is at Wembley today for the game. Personally I can't stand the game, she's trying her best to turn me but it will never happen :p

I'm sorry but as good as Sam Tomkins is, that was terrible behaviour from him, after Charnley scored the opening try, he went to congratulate him and blatantly stuck two fingers up at the Leeds fans. He's a good player, but he REALLY gets on my nerves.

Josh Charnley is class. I could tell when he was on loan at Rovers last year, he is a great young player. Good fightback from Leeds. Keeps them in it.

Not to dwell on this too much, but didn't Wayne Rooney get a two game ban and cause a HUGE amount of uproar when he swore into the cameras? IMO what Tomkins has done was worse as it was directly inciteful. And he wonders why he gets booed.
