Im running out of excuses and i need help....

Its friday night, i finish work at 8, i get a text saying "your not drinking tonight are you??"

But im seriously stressed from a the week, and my mate is asking me out for a couple of pots...

she's not anti social and she does drink, but she hates me drinking because once i start i cant stop (sorry)

i need more excuses...

I think the onus is on you to stop drinking if you confessed yourself to not stopping once starting.

You don't need more excuses, assuming you both had nothing planned and you're not a **** when drunk, just say you're heading out to the pub to see your friend.

If you're alluding to the fact that you have an alcohol problem, then that's a different matter

Just be honest, tell her that you completely fail to control your life stresses, and to relieve the pressure you drink, you also fail to control your drinking, and you make no apologises for doing so.
In fact, you want others to excuse your binge drinking, and want others to supply you with help to continue failing in your relationship and self control.

How about not overdrinking, so when you start, she doesn't bother you about it?

Well, it kinda sounds like a problem if you;

once i start i cant stop (sorry)

If you love life and you love your partner then surely she's priority one?

You say only weak people have a problem with alcohol, which is quite a bold statement, but then say you have had a stressful week and are relieving those stresses by drinking?

Its easy for you to judge people after one post isn't it?

Maybe i did 2 tours of Iraq, had a failed marriage to a german girl due to 2 miscarriages, and now am just a mister nobody in north england being raped by the government, so yes i do like a drink. But i have learned harsh lessons, i have lived with my partner for 4 years now, but i know that when i start drinking (once a week) i just cant stop, maybe when i get FAT and BALD i might

How about you take a couple of bottles of wine home and share it with your girlfriend over dinner, playing cards and making love.

Maybe you shouldn't be such a selfish lover, if she's hot I can take care of her for you if you'd like, but it will cost you.

Yes, unsurprisingly, people judge you based upon what information you reveal about yourself.
