Hi freinds

Im in the market for a new monitor strictly for gaming.
It will be used for 70 % pc and 30% xbox 360.
Ill also be useing it for a few dvd's and a little surfing.
Ive decided im gona buy from overclockers uk.

Now my budget is £250 max

Do i go for a 27 inch or a 24 inch ?
I sit around 3 feet from my pc.

My graphics card is a GTX 295.
I have 4 gigs of ram and an E6750 o/c to 3.6 ghz
I dont intend to upgrade it for anouther year.
Ive no intentions of running a quad core system.
Will a single gtx 295 be enouth to power a 27 inch monitor ?
My graphics card only has 2 DVI ports (no hdmi port) so i will only need 1 hdmi
for the xboxs 360 and dvi for the pc.
Ide like to play with as much eye candy as posible with my current system.

I play mostly fps shooters i.e all the cod flamph , gta IV farcry 2 , TF2 and a few racing games.

Heres a few ive been looking at :

27 " monitors

Hanns.G HZ281HPB 27.5

AOC E2795VH 27" Widescreen LED Monitor

Iiyama ProLite E2773HDS 27" Widescreen LED 1MS Monitor

Iiyama ProLite B2712HDS 27" Widescreen LCD Monitor

24" Monitors

Theres a wide selection in my price range on overclockers so i wont list them here.
but please feel free to give your advice.

Ill only be useing a single monitor no duel or tripple required.

One last thing i wont be needing a 3D screen for the forceable future.

Hope ive suplied enouth info for you guys to offer you valued advice.

Thanks freinds for taking the time :)

Madsin.

I have the Hanns G and for the price really happy with it. Word of warning though the factory settings are really bad so you will have to tweek the brightness etc.

No dead pixals, and no bleed.
