Darksiders save.

Does anyone have a save for darksiders at the start of twighlight cathedral. My game bugged and I can't continue as one of the swords I need has gone invisible.

Just started playing (got it cheap in the last Steam sale) and it's the worst sort of keyboard mashing console tat I could have imagined!!
How on earth did it get decent reviews??

Game pad - use it, love it. Seriously, it's been a PC peripheral for so long, bashing games for being game pad focused isn't even funny any more. In short - yes it is you. Darksiders is an excellent game.

EDIT: Anuraj, do you still need those saves? I have three from different stages of the game, I could share.

Nope, Darksiders makes a really bad first impression. It's an outstanding game though so worth sticking with it.

I am at Tiamat, and I need her heart.

I'm having difficultly exploding the bombs, I wait till she is ready to breath fire but seems hit n miss especially with the way aiming is handled with a mouse n keyboard.

picked this up yesterday and with a gamepad i cant beleive it took me so long to get it,

EPIC story, nice graphics, awesome action and scripted sections,

only downside is i cant select my native res of 2560x1440......

I saw the video where that happened to you actually lol Absolutely hateful when it happens, but the only thing to do is take a deep breath and come back in a few days and redo it. I always use as many slots for saves as the game allows and try to cover myself that way. Redoing an hours gametime is annoying but restarting is just unbearable.

Damn. Before formatting my HDD the other day I decided that I wouldn't need these saves anymore. So weird how nearly only a day later, a request like this is made.

The game has a few glitches like that, where you can get completely stuck - like others have said, save as much as it allows.

I got it on the cheap during a steam sale and I'd have defo paid more for it. Thought it was awesome.

Make a back up of your options.dopt file in your AppData/Local/Darksiders folder and replace it with this - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G0X4DE4H

The settings had to be edited in hex editior to get this resolution to work but the last time I checked, it worked fine.
