A Parcel Delivery Box solves the problem of a delivery being made when you’re not*home to receive it. We have all had the "sorry we missed you" cards through the letter box! This tough weatherproof box is the perfect solution for*keeping your parcel safe until you return home.* The courier/delivery person*follows the simple instructions printed on the Delivery Box, dropping the package into the large capacity box*- then activating the lock by pushing in the two locks on either side to secure the contents.* You simple unlock on your return.* Excellent parcel security in your absence.*

Thats actually a pretty good idea, although multiple deliveries wont work :(

Indeed. My thought though was that they'd save time in total, as re-deliveries would be cut.

The other issue I suppose, is that you'd get loads of people saying 'I'm 30 seconds away, can you hang on'.

Never saw this reply at the time - but yes you're right

"I'll only be 5 minutes"
"Hang on I'm round the corner"
"Oooh can you drop it at Auntie Ethels?"

etc etc

Nightmare. The whole B2C market (and C2C) is a complete nightmare. Ugh.

Got a package from DPD today in the one hour time slot they specified. What I almost can't believe is that the replacement computer monitor Repairtech sent me actually seems to work!

Well today my delivery time was between 9am and 5:30pm and they came at 5:20 :P wasn't home as I had to go to work but it's annoying as I waiting all day

I have to laugh when I come to someones front door and there is a sign sellotaped to the window.

Driver please call 078545662214 I can be there in 15 minutes.

If only I had 15 minutes and a company phone to call you on :) This is happening more and more for some reason.

I got woken up at 10.30 by the UPS driver dropping off my touchpad, felt sorry for him as I was only wearing a pair of jogging pants and had the "just woken up look".

I have pretty much everything delivered to work - there's usually someone in from 7:30-17:00, so it's pretty much guaranteed to get to me/my desk.

All I have to do is set my surname to include "(Personal)" on most of these though...
