Huge Spider Found in My House

Firstly I guess it's just a house spider, but look at the size of it, this scared the life out on my misses who was sat on the floor as it ran past her.....

I took this snap with my phone than put it outside...... I had to use a bowl as i normally use a pint glass to catch em but a pint glass would not fit round this monster

We had a couple of these in our house the other day. One about the same size as that and a smaller one.

So i guess they are pretty common

*edit* they are fast little buggers too

I have a vent and door into a carport from my room, spiders are pretty common visitors.

This was a bugger I found staring at me from the curtains a while ago.

We have a lot of those spiders keep appearing in our garage aswell,I hate the bloody things.
Some are hairy buggers aswell...at least we dont really see them much bigger than that,Id hate to live in Aus or something where you can get ones as big as your hand wonder in. :/

Only seem to get little spiders up here, if there was one bigger than a 2p peice I would put on a skirt so I could pull it up round my neck so I could run out the house screaming like a proper girl

Actually no, don't like spider guts over my hand. Tissue paper works well though.
