Ok several years ago I built my brother a new PC, this has been stripped for parts and sold on. He no longer has a PC and I'm looking at possibly building him something on the cheap as he is using my old laptop which is rubbish.

I have a few questions
What is the best processor I could put on this board and along with that what would be a decent air cooler?
What would be a decent graphics card to put in this? Currently he has a 550W PSU I believe it is but happy to get another one if cheap
What about ram, I'd like to have 4GB in it as I want to run Windows 7 64.

Everything else he has, albeit old and just want to get him up and running on something cheap ideally :)

Will be used for games and ideally don't want to spend more than £200

Thanks

what make is the psu ?

have a look at the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro cooler, gfx card wise have a look at a nvidia 460gtx or ati 6850, will need to check if you psu has the right power connections for them.

check the members market for the memory as i would imagine ddr memory is silly money.

processor wise the Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4800+rev.E6 looks about the best bet.

edit.

if possible i'd save some extra and go for new hardware, could get a amd phenom quad core, 4gb of ddr3 memory, mobo + 460 gtx for £300
