Used to always hate this time of year, getting ready to go back etc...but its my birthday on 4th so a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. :)

Why's it called platform 9 3/4 when it's half way between platforms 9 and 10, surely it should be called platform 9 1/2 :confused:

Harry Potter's great and I can talk about it for ages. The main thing though is that you know it's not real.

My old secondary school started autumn term anywhere between 2rd and 10th September. Never had it as early as the 1st. Plus, the first day of that term was always a Baker Day / PD Day (or whatever schools call it now), so it meant that the kids were back a day later than 2nd-10th.

I'm up for a bit of Potter chat. I'm more of a fan of the books, but do like comparing with the film versions too. It ought to go into the entertainment section of OcUK though. Had a quick flick there and didn't see any related threads. We should have a single bumper HP thread like the ones for dubstep, dnb, anime etc.
