I have to ask, WTF is it with developers and this stiffy for things magically repairing\healing?

Its seriously getting old, cod 2 seemed to be the first shooter that i can recall bringing this regen crap into shooters and its just snowballed since then.

Great. Yet more tank whores sitting back shooting into a cap and when a rocket hits them they reverse and regen before poking their barrel out for more random shooting.

You have to ask though, if its just sitting back and randomly shooting how effective that is going to be.

Hardcore mode is looking more and more appealing.

In the Russian fighter jet, do you go with anti-air missiles to dogfight enemy air targets, or would you rather mount a handful of laser guided air to ground missiles as your secondary weapon to harass opposing tanks? Do you equip it with IR flares to avoid missiles, or would you rather take your chances with the fire extinguisher in case you get

I realise that, but on most of the servers I play on in BC2, I still have to wait the mandatory 20 seconds or whatever it is, so in effect there is no advantage to getting in before anyone else.


Have to agree RE self healing tanks. I assume your tank can be both self healing and repairing at the same time.

Have the requirements for the game been released or confirmed? Looking at buying pretty much a new PC so would like something that can run this comfortably Been looking at a 560 or 6870

Made sense in Halo as you were in a regenerative suit, apparently ww2 soldiers also had this ability.

Possibly, but remember we have jets and choppers back, on some maps at least. Decent pilots will take care of them.

Interesting… One of the DICE dev’s (Gustav Halling) just posted his new #BF3 rig…..

Pretty obvious tho.... Battlefield Dev's seem to prefer ATI!

Im wanting to get another 6870 for my 2500k build, I would think that it would run BF3 pretty nicely at the combo.
