Well hello guys i have just purchased EK H3O Watercooling Kit - Supreme HF 360 **EN Nickel Plating** [3831109863145]

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-117-EK&groupid=962&catid=1532&subcat=

And would love some advice pls.

The case i have got is the lovely

Corsair Obsidian 800D (6GB/s) Full Tower Case - Black [CC800DW]

For the water cooling kit i am wondering about placement of the res and pump, and would liek to ask you guys for advice, (btw i will not be cutting up the casein any way or fashion).

I have seen the pump placed on the fan in front of the 6gbs board at the bottom. but not sure about airflow ect, so advise away please.

thank you

great kit to choose :)

i too am unsure where you want to mount the pump.

i would personally put the pump on the midplate or in the lower compartment and have the tubing come through the grommets next to the mid plate fan.

have your fans exhausting out of the roof of the case and consider putting the radiator top [where the fittings go in] at the front of the case as it will look a lot neater.

Thank you for the reply, the main prob i think is going to be the Reservoir, i do not have the tools to put holes in the area where the motherboard sits.
i normly see the Reservoirs on the right hand side next to the motherboard, without tools i am unable to do this, not to mention the wife woudl kill me hehe

the pump sits on a flat mounting plate next to the the reservoir does it not?

EK MANUAL see page 11

or is it a free standing res?

if it is free standing, with C clips to hold the res in place.
then there should be some threaded holes on the motherboard tray for extended motherboards to the right of your 24 pin power cable.

the C clips can screw into this can they not?
