John Cleese: London no longer English

Most of the cultures that have come into the UK are simply crap for all the people that are made to live within them their entire lives.

A lot of it is to do with education aswell. In every culture there are educated people and they do usually stand out from general masses and have a broader outlook on life and would interact more with other cultures than village type people who seem to form bulk of such cultures in this country.

Possibly. But it's not as simple as judging another culture to be right or wrong. Our own 'culture'/'society', whatever, is not without it's massive problems. And while of course there are certain things that we might judge as right or wrong when talk from a human perspective (the rights of women and children, certain aspects of justice, etc) the rest isn't so black and white.

While you might judge those cultures as being crap for those people, I'm sure those people might equally judge our culture as being weak, wasteful or I suppose even wrong.

That and what WingZero has said - like in all cultures you do get your general 'sheeple' who tend to follow the trends and don't try to expand outside of those boundaries/limits, while the more educated tend to have a wider world view.

It's all about who you let in.

Scum who just wan't an easy way out and don't give a toss about the country and it's people are the problem, and unfortunately, those are the type of people who've been coming in during recent decades.

I am of a minority culture based around the 'way of life' of stupid uneducated villagers. 'White middle classed' culture simply has it so much easier that they couldnt comprehend what other cultures are like, and most of the PC brainwashed fools within simply think that every other culture is as good as / equal to theirs.

Are your Parents (or grandparents) not immigrants from India however?

Yes and their culture is pure BS and shouldnt exist in the UK.

Spot On!!

Every culture has it's own values and beliefs.

The world is definitely more diverse.

What I found was that I could only interact with people in this city, country as long as I knew them. The moment I went in a place surrounded by strangers, it would be impossible for me to hold a friendly conversation as people in this country just seem reserve.

Good post however on that point it wouldn't matter where you are from as even if you are a native its still as difficult because you are right people are reserve.

All the Hindu people I have met seem to be very nice, in fact I went to some celebration not long ago and had a great time, it was good to experience something different.

Not all Indians are the same, like everyone else, the vast majority are just normal people minding their own business and their culture isn't BS, just some people are not very nice and it is those few that people point to as indicative of everyone.

You dont gain any knowledge of living within another culture from simply having a chat with a person from that culture, who will usually put on a fake PC face while speaking to you in comparison to what they are like to other people in their own culture. Some people born within a culture will actually like it and have no problem living with. Others wont.

Im not too particularly keen on the number of girls I have known that have been forced / coerced into arranged Hindu weddings, or beaten and rejected by their parents if they refused. This is very common practice within the Hindu community in Bradford, which is entirely based around 'Women must stay at home, cook food and clean the house, and marry whoever her parents choose. If she doesnt then we are allowed to beat, humiliate and reject her for being a westernized whore'.

Who should the onus be on to integrate, how do you converse with some one that doesn't speak you language?

Original language spoken in London was Latin, I guess the locals in the surrounding area probably spoke Welsh. English was spoken later on when Anglo Saxons arrived... Danish people briefly ruled it then English again, then some people who spoke French conquered it....

On a more serious note I don't think its all that important whether or not 1st generation immigrants integrate, the kids will inevitably do so anyway.

SEND THEM BACK..................

However, you are referring to largely Tribal traditional views that are not indicative of many Hindus, it is a shame that many have retained that aspect of the regions they sought to escape when coming to this country.

Most hindus I know wouldn't dream of beating their daughters or wives, in fact it seems like the wives are the ones who do the pushing around, however they mostly do not hale from the tribal regions of India either and are well educated professional people.

Don't tar everyone with the antiquated views of the few, because trust me, British Culture has it's fair share of sexual discrimination, social depravity and domestic violence.

I didnt tar everyone, I specifically mentioned in an earlier post that it's people from the villages in India, which is literally the whole of Lidget Green in Bradford and many other parts of Bradford, Leicester, and Birmingham where such people segregate themselves into isolated communities.

I've seen it everyday of my life, you havnt.

Sorry, I didn't see that post. I thought you were referring to Hindu Culture in general rather than the tribal culture within it.

Why does forced multiculturalism only apply to white countries?

I don't see swathes of Indians, Arabs, Pakistanis, Mexicans, Nigerians, Kenyans, etc. walking the streets of Tokyo. You see a few other hairy gaijins but nothing like London.

Tokyo manages to do OK as a business center without this PC multiculti uber alles rubbish.
