has anyone ordered from www.Americansweets.co.uk ? I was just craving a pick and mix and came across it, I think I could spend a dangerous amount of money here. The postage is £4.50 so you need to buy a lot to make it worthwhile. Is ordering sweets online sad? Think my mum would be suspicious I was ordering drugs online if a load of 'sweets' turned up in a parcel, it's a shame she's not Internet fluent.
I'm verging on making a £15 + order here :p

No it's not sad, I usually order some American stuff (their mountain dew is lovely) online or pop into CyberCandy. I've not ordered from American Sweets before but they have been recommended to me by a few friends.

Yeah I quite often end up buying stuff from there. I'm in Basingstoke and the shop in Aldershot is only 20 or so miles or so away which is pretty convenient ;)

I just finished up the pack of Wonka nerds I brought back from my last trip to the US. Good stuff.

Tend to put in an order every couple of months to stock up on Pop Tarts from that website (or ones like it)

Damn they're expensive. I might start filling my suitcase with this crap on my visits to sell when I get back.

Americansweets have a store on amazon and their user rating score is very good. I haven't actually used them yet (as there are cheaper places to buy Lucky Charms) but I'm looking to buy some Wright's liquid smoke. The one I want is out of stock at the moment though.

I love Lucky Charms, oh another great cereal is Colossal Berry Crunch (generic Captain Crunch). I have to eat healthy now, have the High Cholesterol gene thanks to my dad. :(

Iv'e used taste of america.

Same deal, postage best done in multiples. I use it to order sugar free chewing gums, just so much over in the states you don't get over here... virtualy all the flavours have been phased out in the uk leaving us with mint or mint!! are still available in the states.

Postage aside, they mark it up about 50p a pack... but with most american you get 15 sticks over 12 we have over here:p

I was thinking of visiting the shopp its only a hour away to get some root beer but not at £1.20 a can, when I was in the states last year they were 40p a can, I know they got costs but the mark up cant be 200%.
