Daegu 2011 IAAF World Championships

Couple of thinner girls as well which surprised me as well! One of the Americans, the German and I think she was Jamaican, really thin and quite tall.

Sally Pearson just stormed through her heat. Tiff Porter coming up now...

Everyone going mad about Pistorius being left out!

Haha nope not at all.

Dean Macey saying about there being a ton more people there today compared to other morning sessions and the place does look packed. I wonder how much of a factor Bolt is to do with that.

10 or so minutes before we see that man as well!

Weird run from Dix, but looked very comfortable. 20.42 Kim Collins into the semi final as well.

Bolt up next!

Has Bolt ever ran a 200m that slowly? He actually jogged that! 20.30, stroll in the park for him.

Only just been able to catch up on the evening session and I have to say that was a brilliant women's Javelin final.

Jenny Meadows failing to qualify was a shock as she looked pretty handy, until the last 20 metres... oh and Caster Semenya needed a shave. It was also rather depressing to see how far our 4x400m mob have fallen.

Just caught some of the highlights from todays competition, bit disappointed with our mens 4x400m, really impressed with Vivian Cheruiyot in the 5000m though and to win the double as well. :)

The womens javelin final was pretty special too, it reminded me somewhat of the mens javelin final in Sydney with Steve Backley and the great Jan Zelezny performing near the top of their game - in that one Backley broke the Olympic record only to have Zelezny break it straight after and win the damn thing. I'm almost certain if Backley had been born in any other era he'd have won at least one Olympic gold.

Sally Pearson to win hurdles, maybe new WR she is looking supreme. Bolt to win 200m in sub 19 seconds. :)

That's a fantastic run by Lemaitre. He was even coming back at Bolt/Dix!

Could he be Bolt's main challenger at this distance come London...
