1366 to 1155 water block.

Will my EK water block currently on a 1366 socket fit my new 1155 motherboard. (ASROCK Z68) I've read that it will but OCUK listing only says LGA1156 and 1366, I thought the cooler retaining holes remained the same.

1156 and 1155 use the same.
So it'll work.

Sadly it doesn't. The 1155 cooler fittings are different to the 1366 and 775!

1366 on the right 1155 on the left. 775 looks different again but the motherboard has 775 and 1155 holes. If only I could find mt 775 water block and mounting :mad:

You've confused me.
In the OP you said 1156.
1156 and 1155 use the same mounting holes.

It looks like mine is specifically 1366 and not a multiple fitting.

I might try and fit my old 775 system, but that'll mean changing water block twice. So it looks like air cooled for a day or two.
