hmmm....Well the first game is awesome, never really played United Offensive and COD2 is also awesome (talking about SP in both cases).
If you can find a good server then COD1 MP is good, but I don't hold COD2 MP in the same regard. Most COD1 servers are now modded.
Basicly if you have 9.99 to spend, get it.

cod 1 and uo are simply amazing.
single player is very testing and compared to todays game seems like they botting you
still quite a few servers for cod 1 and uo online (more cod 1) but its more old school aiming and skillwise which is harder to learn if you havent played that style.

For some reason I've never been able to get COD1 working in Windows 7. It seems to have a problem with the files in the game directory.

make sure its patched aswell
installed today on disk . there are numerous help guides .
