Urgent help needed to install Radeon 6970

Just come back from a hard days graft and was so looking forward to installing my new Radeon 6970 to play Deus Ex but am stumped.
I have no previous knowledge of installing graphics cards or building a PC.

Anyways, I'm hoping and praying somebody is still awake now and can help me.

Basically I've got an OCZ ZS Series 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply with just 2 x 6 pin connectors.
My graphics card, by the looks of it, requires 1 x 6pin and 1 x 8 pin connectors

Now I've also got these 2 cables which came with the graphics card and have no idea what theyre for or how to use them.

Is it going to be possible for me to install this card at all?

Yes you should definitely be fine!

As you said your power supply has 2x 6 pin outputs. One of these two takes care of the 6 pin power input on your graphics card!

For the 8 pin input on your graphics card, use that adapter in your second picture. The black end goes in the graphics card and the two white plugs are "molex" connectors. Your power supply should have at least 2 of these "molex" connectors which can plug into that adapter!

From OCZ site:

650W Connectors
1 x 20+4-pin ATX
1 x 4+4-pin ESP/12V CPU
1 x 6-pin PCI-E
1 x 6+2-pin PCI-E

so you should just be able to use the 6 pin in the 6 pin hole, and the 6+2 to make the 8 pin for the other one.

you shouldn't need either adapter.

These are molex adapters you should be fine use on of the adapters and one from your power supply

It sounds like your power supply has got everything you need! If you can get it working without the adapter it should look a lot neater in your case!

Just to let you all know I managed to install the card successfully. As Keyser Soza pointed out, one of the 6 pin cables did have another 2 pins connected to the side of it which I didn't see before. All works fine now and Deus Ex plays very well.
