Tyre Choice (185/60/R14)

Looking for some decent tyres for a VW Polo, size 185/60/R14, no budget set yet but the owner has 3 different types of tyre on the car at the moment and none look in great shape.

Will order online and get them fitted for her.

Don't have any experience with this tyre size so what would you go for?

Any other websites other than CamSkill and BlackCircles?

Continental Premium Contact 2 any good at £55~ a tyre each (not including fitting).

Should be able to get something half decent like Uniroyal Rainsport 2s in this size for sensible money.

Unlikely to find tyres like CS3s or Eagle F1s at all.

Think we want something a bit better than that - prefer to not get budget, last set of tyres were £70~ each but from a garage so not brilliant VFM.

Blackcircles just have me the best price I could find for 4x new Toyos and the garage they recommended gave very good service. That would be my first port of call. Camskill also gave a good price just for the tyres, but didn't offer a fitting option.

PC2 is the only real choice in that size, I spent considerable time researching it, then went and bought 15's instead.

They were fine on a 167bhp 205 gti, but spend what you like
