Hi there

Am contemplating some very minor customisations to my 911, here are a few pics you can work with:-

The changes I wish to make are:-

1. Wing mirrors painted gloss black
2. Side decals removed / replaced with the ones in pic below.
3. This am really unsure about, but be good to see how car looks with parts of or all of the rear spoiler painted black, for example maybe just the outer sides black or all black, but quite unsure about this, might look stupid.
4. Bottom front lip/splitter painted black, this is now done as did it myself with plastidip and still holding up great.

The new decals I like the look off I found on this car:-

Obviously on my car I'd want those decals in black, not red and am guessing they must be something Porsche sell. :)

Sorry I cant really help with the photoshopping but my thoughts are a NO to everything mentioned, I'd keep it just as is. Looks great :)

Very true, no denying that. :)

Just with the bottom black front lip spoiler and black wheels thought black mirrors could go quite well.

Wouldn't bother mate, if anything i'd save the cash and put it towards that better cooling bootlid.

I'd probably not bother, since the extra radiator install engine never gets that hot, not even when we were blasting around the track. :)

Plus that kind of change would probably require GT3 airbox, throttle body etc, which would certainly add power and upset Porsche warranty greatly.

Ah sounds like far too much money / work.

Just thinking outside the box, i wonder what it would look like with a carbon or gloss black roof?

You could start plasti dipping or whatever it's called like all the cool kids are doing :D Any bit that's easily accessible or can be pulled off is up for the black is best treatment :p

The white car above is trying to replicate this:

Sadly it isn't a GT3 RS and to me trying to make a car something better than it is, not least in Pork world is ****....I mean wrong. Not suggesting this is your ambition here, but that is what our man in white has tried to do I would suggest. Your car looks good and has a unique look, personally I wold remove the decal all together and be done, but it's your car, go with what you like but personally avoid trying to be a GT3 for there is a reason the GT3 has a 40K engine and BHP numbers REALLY don't do it justice.

Haha thats a very good point actually, I could just spray the mirrors and see what I think, don't like it then just peel it off. :D

Thats very nice, I could swear my mates is an RS and his does not have a rear spoiler like that or those side decals, but his is blue.

You see I've seen yellow cars with aerokit without decals and I really don't like it, I think the black bits on the yellow really help break the car up a bit, hence why I've got my front lip in black as I preferre the looks plus I no longer have to deal with yellow paint getting chipped off etc.

So I definetely like side decals, just wondered if black mirrors would go, but I never thought of just spraying them with plastidip to see what I thought so may give that a go and see what the outcome is like, afterall it I don't lile it then it just peels off. :)

I'd remove the decal, but certainly wouldn't replace it.

Never liked either decal tbh.

Black wing-mirrors looks good to me too.

Cheers for those photoshops :)

Can you do one with just my front splitter and mirrors black please?

Not hearing the decals or rear wing in black, looks odd.

I think mirrors yes, lip definitely and then 3m DI NOC the roof maybe?

I think the decals look good as they are :)

Definately remove the decals and be done, the car looks a lot cleaner. PLus those areas will then be easier to detail ;)
