One past stream lesson I quite liked was that the Former King himself was teaching the Sagat pupil about using the kick tiger shots to knockback the opponent when they are blocking or at the right time to create space.

It's all the little details that they go into which is interesting. Apart from the language barrier for most people, seeing it in action you can tend to figure some things out.

Just had some games with Elrasho. Absolutely excellent Abel player. GGs

However, these days I feel I offer no real challenge. The past few weeks I have been absolutely awful and can barely scrape a win together now. Oh well, my Ken seems to be getting a bit better at least.

GGs dude. With Ken use his step kick its a great tool and try to keep the pressure on, I've had the most trouble when Ken players smother me with crossups and that blasted kara throw!

Thanks for the tips. I think being smothered with crossups is my single greatest problem when using Balrog at the moment.

If you're standing it should be a doddle to stop with dash/tap under it, chp (silly good AA), walk back smp (silly good AA) or auto correct exdp/ru if you're panicking.

Balrog's only real weaknesses is his wake up game so if you're getting hit by ambiguous crossups on wakeup... don't get knocked down.

I do tend to crouch a lot, I will try standing more and give the smp more of a go as chp doesn't always work.

There will be a next time! Pulling it back from 2-0 to lose by that much health... by a ****ing wheel kick!?!!!! The ending sums it up well, I was also left speechless lol. Next time man, I don't fear your Abel anymore!! Had I started with Ryu... who knows???
