Second hand Sapphire 5970 (sold as seen and untested).

If I was accused of being that skank on ebay, I would want to defend myself.
But looks likes TooCool wont be posting again so it seems like this thread has run its course. Good work on uncovering the ebay scam, shame ebay dont seem to give a toss.
 
cant be arsed reading all the thread....what was the scam??? some guy trying to sell a 5970 when it was just the heatsink only?

Laughs :D. That's okay. I don't mind a good joke, and that wasn't a good joke ;). As you probably guessed from my Firefox tabs, I was looking for a good 120mm fan. Any suggestions ?

I can try, but according to the people she's replied to besides me, she sounds pretty miffed. And what would i put to her ? I still can't tell if she is selling the whole card or just the case and fan judging by the pictures. She has chosen an angle which obscures any signs of circuitry.

You can see there is no whopping great shiny metal bracket on the side to hold it in though :D
 
Well I can see the difference now, yes. I have never looked at pictures of that card before or seen it in the flesh either. I could never have afforded to look at such an expensive card. I like nice things if I can afford them but for the most part, a spade is just a spade to me. I can't afford to think any other way. I'm about 6'7" tall and weigh about 19 stone. I don't get many people taking me for a fool, so I can afford to take things at face value. Thinking negatively about life isn't very productive. Life is hard enough for us all as it is.
