How much a month do you pay for your gym?

my mate goes here and loves going at 2am (its open 24hours)

sounds like great value for money

i go to virgin active and pay a lot more, but i like the classes

Ya, I usually go around 11pm. Nice and quiet and no gym-tourists clogging up the weights area. Few milfs cruising for men in there around that time too.

I'm just checking here but you do know that the hotel one (84) isn't the normal price don't you? That's a deal for a spa day they have for hotel members not their fitness club price. It appears you need to call/email them to find the normal gym price.

Is what you've read as their monthly fee.

£38 at a DW Fitness club. It's got a good pool area as well as a good weight/cardio selection so works for me.

Joined David Lloyd yesterday on a corporate deal for £75 a month.. Yes it is a lot, but I'm a fairly good tennis and squash player so I will be doing everything I can to use them as much as possible!

Is that for the Vantage option? Looking at their website the Vantage looks very nice but I couldn't stomach paying that much considering I only pay £25 a month now.

VA - £60 pcm ish. I get it freeee though.

Depends on the club and what you want. My old Kinetica was £40 and it was an utter dive. David LLoyd is a posh club.

Ant

Corporate rate gives you the ability to use any club in the country, but not the 10% off food and drink and fresh towels that vantage does.. Suits me perfectly as I work in Glasgow where there are 2 clubs, but I have a project in Edinburgh for 3 months literally 5 mins from the Edinburgh club!

£300 a year at my local gym, not to shabby for the money. but you have to pay all at once or monthly it starts to cost more.

I pay £25 a month for our local gym with no contract (only in my second month and didnt know if i'd keep it up to warrent signing for 12 months!) Drops to £20 i think though with a contract.

Fairly basic but they're upgrading it as we speak and fitting a Sauna etc

£40 a month for Virgin Active. Can't complain really... well until I turn 26 and it goes to £57.

I pay £40 for Virgin Active as well, I am 36, what's age got to do with it?

And I can complain, I only use the free weights and Shower, I want to pay less! :(

That's what the charge for a standard membership without discount here.

Corp membership is ususally around £50 so I'd check out your deal.

i pay zero (home gym) but i usually do end up buying bits and pieces on regular basis

Probably a bit more than just a gym though.

Most people would be equally as shocked when they hear someone spent £150 on gym clothes. :p

lol

£27 a month and it gives me access to 5 of Sheffields gyms/swimming/steam and sauna

this seems like a stonker of a deal
