Was an absolutely amazing run, Gwin was hot on his heels though, only 0.9 down at the first split, but that crash really did mess his run up big time, had he not crashed he would have easily come in 2nd and possible taken 1st.
Poor Gee though, 52nd thanks to two crashes one of which took him a good 20 seconds to recover from as his bike got stuck in the nets.

On a side note, need a new rear wheel for my Nukeproof Mega build.
I was going to go for a Mavic Crossline 135 x 12mm for the rear.

Went to a few shops yesterday as a mate is looking for a discounted 2011 bike. Went to Evans and will never go back. The customer service in there is terrible and we were pretty much being ignored.
Took my mate to the local shop near me (mountain trax in Wokingham if anyone is interested; excellent shop) and was given all the time he needed and is going for a Giant Trance X2. £1600 brand new, pretty good deal I think.

I've been on the same uplift as him at the Forest of Dean, me and my mate were going to follow him to see how fast he was but he lost us on the uphill bit after you get off the bus

He was rediculously fast, was watching it with 20 mates all huddled around a 40" TV! When the first split time was on screen we all cheered, when the 2nd one appeared we all went mental.
