I doubt anyone here thinks this will be a lesson in game design and polish, but I suspect that running around an island with a few mates, hitting zombies with bats and messing around, will be more fun than most other games out at the moment. Take Saint's Row 2 - with a friend it was much, much more fun than GTA4, despite being the shoddier piece of software.

Got my promo copy but its PS3 not PC, but luckily I have a PS3. And if it was PC I would probs have to wait for it to unlock on steam anyway! Game on!

I have done it three times so far on steam, had no problems. They won't ban you anyway, you could be in the US when you activated the game, they know no different.

What highstreet retail stores do you think will stock this on friday for launch? The PC version not console.

Only place I can think of is Game. Most other places have poor stock of PC games.

Has great potential, but me and friends had way too much trouble all staying in a hosted game. Hopefully not an issue activate as UK on Friday without VPN workarounds.

Looks great graphically and runs exceptionally well, I was expecting it to lag like hell. Not so! I7 at 4.5 and GTX285, latter being my weak spot.

A fair few little niggles though, items being apparent for pickup but not actually there as someone else took for example.

I've been playing for the past hour and its amazing!!!

There is so much to do and the graphics are lush.
