Blizzard will ban you if you cheat in single player of SC2, yet this Blizzard scam is allowed to go on, it's been going on for about two years and Blizzard have done **** all about it.

Probably on the basis that anyone stupid enough to fall for it deserves everything they get and its not worth the effort to stop it.

Though they seriously ban you for cheating in SP? ><

I have to agree, Blizzard say in many places on their battle.net website, their game websites and in the games themselves to never give out your login details. Anyone stupid enough to do deserves what they get, sometimes it takes a mistake like losing your bnet account to learn your lesson.

And to those who havn't already I recommend using a bnet authenticator, its free on some smart phones or costs money for a hardware authenticator but it means it will be almost impossible for your account to get stolen through these sort of scams.

As for the banning in SP, although I disagree with it, the EULA does mention about using 3rd party applications that effect the game and that it can get you banned. A little harsh maybe for SP, but its their game and thats their rules.

Yeah, why aren't Blizzard reading and filtering all my emails to make sure that I don't get any spam messages like this!

All fake Blizzard emails i've received always seem like a child formulated the email.

What do you expect them to do exactly? They put plenty of warning all over their site about scams, have implemented an authenticator system (and a pretty good imo)

How exactly are they supposed to police emails sent from one person to another? They can't just send in a crack team of Rogues and Ghosts to infiltrate the spammers HQ and break some kneecaps exactly. :p
