The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

I tried to take a screenshot of prince of persia forgotten sands, pressed printscreen...all I got was a black screen.

Do I need to use FRAPS?

Play the game via Steam (add non-Steam game if it's not in your steam account) and use the Steam screenshot function :)

Dead Island.
I'm playing with the XBOX360 wireless pad, works flawlessly but also trying the KB/Mouse. There is some weird mouse acceleration thing going on with movement, sometimes it feels as if there's friction in look-movement?

Anyway, games is updated to the first patch as well. Looks great and runs great (never drops below 60fps) on max settings 1920x1200.

Someone on the DI thread said they saw 20fps in some parts, I have not experienced this at all, even when recording using FRAPS my framerate was 60fps the whole time.

i5 2500K 4.3GHz

It is off, I never use it in any game and the fact that the fps is above 60 should be an indicator of that.

Hey, is it possible these days to get AA, in fullscreen mode, without any of the other things in his mod, I only really just want AA and then, later on, I might decide on the other things, the main thing ruining GTA IV imho is still jaggies.


Does it still require a massive GPU ?
When I last tried it, 1280x720 supersampled windowed was just about playable, with many annoying freezes.
I'd like to play at 1920x1080 supersampled fullscreen, do I need a 300+ quid gpu for that :p ?

For supersampling ofc, I'm well aware of the cpu requirements...

The mod also massively changes the graphics. I don't know if it is possible to manually disable the effects and just leave the SSAA. The mod I am using enables FXAA by default but that can be switched to SSAA.
