These guys make terrible products.

Received my luxury hungarian goose down duvet king size - all seasons which cost me just under £200.

It proceeded to leak down everywhere.

i mean inside my sheets, through my sheets, all over my room.

it has even gotten onto my clothes and is impossible to get off as the down is so small and there is so much of it. basically anything inside the bedroom has down on it.

It has also ruined 3 sets of egyptian cotton sheets.

i got a replacement duvet sent to me free of charge and they picked the old one up.

the replacement has the exact same problem. down everywhere. all over sheets, clothes.

then when you wash the sheets it gets all over the washing machine and dryer into even more clothes, etc.

all this from a £200 duvet

you dont seem to notice the problem at first, it takes time for the down to make its way out of the duvet into your sheets, then out of your sheets into your room, then you go to change your sheets and down everywhere.

same problem with their pillows, feathers sticking out, etc.

i have asked for a full refund, their products supposedly carry a 10 year gaurantee.

what do you think my chances are of a full refund?

I went for the ultimate version, and no problems like that here. I have had it about 6 months now and all is good.

£200... FOR A DUVET!!!!

Go to dunelm and pickup a perfectly good fogerty duvet for around £20-30 (13.5 tog King @ £22) or £40-50 if you fancy something....Fancy.

£200!!!

Lies :(

Its hard to work out what is good quality when buying a down Duvet online.

I bought what I though was a really nice hungarian goose down duvet from ebay and had the same problem (but not as bad as you) however my dad bought one from another seller and he loves it.

I think the best best is just to buy it from JL or something like that, the only problem is they charge 400 quid plus for a good one which is just too much for a Duvet.

i have like 8 sets of egyptian cotton bedding too, they cost on average £50-£100 each.

people spend this kind of money on a SLR camera and lenses, mobile phones, ipad's, etc.

i spent it on bedding, something which i use on a everyday basis.

personally i think it's worth it, had the duvet done was it was supposed to do, i would be happy. but £200 for a product which basically makes a mess of your room and bedding and clothes, is not acceptable.

a bed is something you should spend a little extra money on. your going to be using it everyday. some people in the home cinema part of the forums spend silly money on amps, tv's, speaker's, etc, do you honestly think spending £2K+ on a sound system is worth it? to them it must be. or £4K on a pioneer kuro.

they are now collecting my duvet, so i need to purchase a replacement. although they have not stated a refund, it was what i asked for, so im assuming i will be given one.

this one is £80

which one do you reckon i should go for lads?

Hah!

You don't get it all down on a nicely togged £15 Tesco (although branded) duvet set.
