Looking for a PC builder

Are you just looking for some to plug the components together and install the stuff. or are you expecting some sort of custom modifications to the casing etc?

On a serious note - you want to start some kind of PC business, but cant build the PCs yourself ....

Maybe think of some other idea tbh.

This is a wind up.

Fox is right, no businessman with half a brain would pay anything other than peanuts for someone to plug in components.

I've looked over your business plan and have to say it isn't an investable company. I'm out.

depends on the systems and profit margin which, if the OPs head is screwed on is likely to come from the installation/support/tech consulting & advice.

for example (and this is the only one I could think of outside which would warrant such dollar dollar pay) if the business is building high end home media PCs and servers capable of gaming, streaming films & music round the house and you are including the audio and visual system so hi end 50" TVs or full home theatres then the pay could be pretty high. The sorts of systems / package that probably start at £5k but are likely to be £10-£50K

oh and to follow the theme of this thread, assuming you have the right contacts, customer orders lined up with a book value of at least 400k, I'm in.

except the system is more than capable of being built by a monkey on an assembly line.

Installation maybe, constructing modified cases etc maybe but just plugging te hardware together certainly not going to be much.

I was assuming the OP was after more than a pc monkey for this hence the much dollar dollar pay and promise of an exciting role

would be wanting 100% stability in the system and quality of workmanship with no risk of returns unless the result of a hardware failure

PC building experiences: Plenty
Number of systems built: 12
Time it takes you per system: Varies on complexity
Water-cooling experience: 1 build a few years ago
Over-clocking experience: I've overclocked every system I've built. I've only ever done one i7 though.

Depending on the pay I may be able to do this, the mr2 eats a lot of fuel :P

Guys stop putting him off, I want my easy money!

Very weird thread. Needs more info about what the job involves. Any monkey can put a large number of computers together - I'm assuming these builds need some sort of custom modification for some reason?
Also don't like the sound of 'very good pay as project has lots of potential'. Potential doesn't typically translate into lots of pay for the build monkey, unless you have some serious investors, in which case why would you be advertising for a position on OCUK?
Tempted to send an email anyway :p.

Pay would be extremely good as the project has a lot of potential.

Vague.

There's also a lot of potential for whoever you employ to construct your systems to rob you of your idea as they have the know how and it appears you don't. Especially if you're going to have to tell them some more precise details over the net as I doubt somebody is going to travel for a job with no real description and for an unspecified salary from someone they met on an internet forum.
